The first time i met my roommate was 5 years ago during the summer. I desperatly needed a ride to my basketball game, so i called Aaron to pick me up. He gladly accepted and on top of that he was really nice. when he picked me up, he was really welcoming and the smile he gave me made me feel welcomed. I was very happy that i met him and i knew that our friendship will grow from that moment. Both of us were tall and we like basketball. The more we talked, the more similarities we found. We like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and we love gaming. When Aaron dropped me off, i told him that we should hang out more and he agreed. From than on, we stayed friends and now we’re roommates.
The more we talked, the more similarities we found. Usually people don’t have as many things in common as Aaron and i do. We both listen to the Red Hot Chilli Pepper and Dave Matthews Band. We both have the same taste in video games which is really convenient when we are together in the dorm. The most important similarity that will keep roommates for the upcoming years is our open mindeness. We are always positive and ready to sacrifice to make our life at Miami work.
I really like your paragraph, especially that you talk about specific things that you have in common with your roommate. It would be interesting to hear about the things you still have in common or about what made you both come to Miami– just give your reader a bit to think about!
